What is Subito Percussion?

Subito Percussion is a competitive winter percussion ensemble. Similar to marching band or drum corps marching percussion; winter percussion is a competitive winter activity performed indoors (usually on a gymnasium floor or indoor arena) and incorporates music and movement in a theatrical manner using marching and concert percussion instruments. All music is produced by the percussion ensemble. Subito Percussion currently competes at local circuit shows available in the Northwest.

What is Subito Winterguard?

Subito Winterguard is a competitive winterguard. Similar to a colorguard you would expect to see perform with a marching band or drum corps. The difference is; winterguard is performed indoors on a gymnasium floor or indoor arena and colorguard is performed outdoors on a football field. Winterguards use dance and acrobatics, along with various pieces of equipment such as silks, rifles, and or sabers to name a few. Winterguards perform to recorded music from any genre in a theatrical manner. Subito Winterguard currently competes at local circuit shows available in the Northwest.
